While there is an underlying somber feel, it's not a complete mood crusher. Mainly because of how the main characters interact, for a lack of better words. This doesn't feel like your typical run-of-the-mill RH. This gem was also posted on a book-lover's blog, with excellent reviews, so I decided to check it out.

It seemed too dark for my current "story mood". Audible kept recommending this series to me but I kept passing it up because of the title & cover art. The feels in this book so far & I'm only halfway through! I spent hours looking for a good PNR RH or UF RH.I was about to give up & revert to Netflix lol. Be warned, the beginning was the most heartwrenching for me & had me tearing up! Just so good! Oh. This has been added to my "read again" list. You may not see why, but it all means something. I had to return to my 1st review, after finishing the series, to give my end thoughts.Because I enjoyed this series so much! If you live for unique fantasy RH series, you have to give this a try! Even the slower moments served a purpose. There is sooo much more to this story the four immortals, visits to purgatory, hell, intrigue, her unknown and developing powers, and the secrets yet to be uncovered! The narration was a solid four and can’t wait download next book!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ EASILY worth a credit! 🔥💋❌⭕️❤️ The four are not too happy she’s been hanging around, and she is quick to learn that maybe being solid isn’t all cracked up to be. When she does start to “solidify” and translation from apparition to solid form the fun begins. Again, for five yrs they don’t know she’s there.

Then five yrs ago she meets four sexy as hell men, who she knows are immortal and moves in with them. In Four Psychos, the female protagonist (Kaylie) “awakens” if you will, to an existence where she doesn’t know who/what she is, and only finds the will to exist never visible or tangible to anyone for unknown amount of time. It was original, sexy, and funny as hell! The inner (and outer) dialogue of “kaylie” is so hilarious at times I nearly choked on laughter, no kidding! It reminds me a bit of the gritty girl humor found in author Kresley Cole’s Immortal series with quips about current culture or pop, made by supernatural etc that don’t quite understand it.

Wow did I love this book, the four psychos, first in its series.
